Brand Story
Paulin was founded in 2013 to bring creative product design into watchmaking. The brand originally focused on quartz watches, later introducing mechanical options. In 2022, Paulin partnered closely with Glasgow enamel dial specialist anOrdain, merging their assembly operations to allow all mechanical Paulin watches to be hand-built in anOrdain’s Scottish workshop.
Design Language
Paulin’s design is heavily influenced by graphic design. Dials feature pastel shades, primary accents, and custom hand-drawn hour numerals. The cases are typically slim and Bauhaus-inspired.
Movements & Manufacturing
The mechanical models utilize the reliable Seiko NH35A automatic base, or Swiss Sellita calibres, regulated and assembled by hand in Glasgow.
Notable Models
Neo is a highlight of their production line.
Why Enthusiasts Care
Paulin offers a creative, artsy alternative to traditional tool watches. Their connection to anOrdain ensures high assembly standards, while their focus on graphic design and bespoke typography makes them unique dress watches.
