Brand Story

Originally founded in 1828 by Heinrich Moser, the brand was revived in 2005 and acquired in 2012 by the Meylan family’s MELB Holding. Led by CEO Edouard Meylan, Moser has established itself as a provocative independent manufacture. The brand is celebrated for its ‘Very Rare’ campaign, combining haute horlogerie movement manufacturing with minimalist dials that often omit brand logos entirely.

Design Language

Moser is famous for its vibrant fumé dials with gradient colorways, clean handset designs, and the fluid, organic cushion case architecture of the Streamliner collection. The aesthetic is bold and modern, rejecting typical watch brand branding.

Movements & Manufacturing

Moser develops and manufactures all movements in-house through its sister company Precision Engineering AG, which produces their own hairsprings and escapements. Movements are finished with double Glashütte stripes and custom rotors.

Notable Models

The Streamliner Centre Seconds is their flagship integrated sports watch with a fluid steel bracelet, and the Pioneer Centre Seconds offers a robust, daily sports watch with 120m water resistance.

Why Enthusiasts Care

Moser is one of the very few watch manufactures to build their own hairsprings. Their mix of high-craft engineering and modern, minimalist aesthetics makes them a favorite for collectors looking for contemporary luxury watchmaking.
